With spring football just around the corner excitement for football is in the air. OKM Athletes have made commitments to Easter Oregon University ( Carson Park ) and University of Regina ( Matt Grado ) to play football in the fall. Blake Butler and Ben White are both strongly considering the Okanagan Sun but have yet to make their commitments. OKM has officially announced the J.V. program for 2008 with a very strong interest. J.V. football will further seperate OKM as the best place for football in the Okanagan, be sure to see Mr. Kruger to get registered if you haven't already. With spring football around the corner, and excitement or the season ramping up, there is no better time then the present to begin thinking about attending a few camps this year to hone your skills. The Okanagan Sun Development camp will be held April 19 & 20th at the Apple Bowl. Contact Sun G.M. Derrick Malinchuk for further details - 317-8289. Middle School Cup football is here. OKM will have a team again this year. Practices begin after school on Monday, March 31st - The tournament will be April 12 & 13th.
